# Your agent checks your connections and sends setup links

Your agent sees when each connection last synced and creates setup links for new sources.

Your agent can list a company's connections with `list_connections`, with when each one last synced and how it went. It can change how often one syncs with `edit_sync_schedule`, and create a setup link for a new source with `mint_setup_link`, which someone opens with no Gatlas account. These are tools of the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the way your agent connects to Gatlas. They see only the companies the connection covers, and a read-only connection cannot change a schedule or create a link.
