Keep every client as a company and ask across them from your assistant.
Each client connects its ledger through a setup link it opens itself. Each accountant asks from their own assistant about the clients you grant them, and your team asks the Gatlas agent in Slack.
Each client keeps its books in its own ledger
A firm’s clients run e-conomic, QuickBooks or Xero, each with its own bank and chart of accounts. A question across clients reads every ledger in turn.
In Gatlas each client is a company in your workspace, and your assistant publishes datasets over its own books.
Ask about any client, or across every client
- In your assistant
- Claude or another assistant, through the agentic interface, today MCP, the open standard agents use to connect to tools
- In Slack
- The Gatlas agent, in your channels
Receivables
Which clients are carrying overdue invoices this month, and from which customers?
Read from e-conomic or QuickBooksVAT
What VAT did each client book last quarter, code by code?
Read from e-conomicSuppliers
Which suppliers did each client pay the most this year?
Read from e-conomic or XeroSales
How do each client’s store payouts compare with the sales booked in its ledger?
Read from Shopify or Stripe

Each client opens a setup link like this one and connects its own ledger, so its login stays with the client.
Connect Rowan Supply’s tools
Sam Reed at Harbor Group uses Gatlas to bring together data from the tools Rowan Supply runs. Connecting the tools below gives Harbor Group read-only access.
Gatlas keeps your credentials encrypted in a vault, and Harbor Group sees each connection’s status. Connecting costs you nothing: Harbor Group’s Gatlas plan covers it. If someone else holds a tool’s login, forward them this link: they don’t need a Gatlas account.
Shopify
E-commerce platform: orders, customers, products, inventory
What we access
Read-only access to orders, draft orders, abandoned checkouts, refunds, fulfillments and transactions, customers, products and collections, inventory and locations, gift cards, store pages and blog posts, and Shopify Payments payouts and disputes. Gatlas never modifies your store.
QuickBooks
Accounting: invoices, customers, bills, payments, accounts
Sign in to QuickBooks as an admin of the company: Intuit lets only an admin connect an app. If the login has several companies, Intuit asks which one to connect; pick this company.
What we access
Gatlas reads your chart of accounts, journal entries, invoices, bills, customers, vendors, and items, and never posts transactions. Intuit's sign-in asks for full accounting access because QuickBooks offers no read-only option.
Ask across every client from your own assistant
Create your workspace and connect your assistant. It helps you send each client a setup link for the tools it runs.
